Defining a
New World-Class
Copper-Gold
District in West Africa

Why Awalé?
Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), situated in the heart of West Africa, is approximately the size of Germany, just slightly smaller than Newfoundland & Labrador.
Ivory Coast not only holds the distinction of being the world’s top cocoa and cashew producer but also stands as a vital economic hub in the West African region. The presence of two major shipping ports, well-developed road infrastructure, access to clean water, and abundant electricity solidify its position as a key member within the ECOWAS alliance.
Gold production currently constitutes 3% of GDP with eight major operating mines and several upcoming development projects in the pipeline.
Major companies operating & exploring in Cote d’Ivoire encompass industry leaders such as Barrick, Endeavour, Fortuna, Centamin, Perseus, Allied Gold, and Newmont through its Awalé Joint Venture.
Odienné consists of 2 granted permits and 5 applications, forming Awalé’s 2,462 km² flagship project.
We have made 3 significant discoveries on the project to date:
Empire, a high-grade gold discovery,
Charger, a high-grade gold discovery,
Sceptre, a large-scale copper discovery.
Odienné has substantial potential to become a large-scale Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) district.
IOCGs are major contributors to the global copper and gold inventory.
